A safe, welcoming place for kids and students to grow

At Fresh Start Church, we believe God is building the next generation and we’re honored to be part of that work. Our Kids and Youth ministries are designed to help children and students grow in faith, build strong relationships, and learn how much they are loved by God.

Whether your child is brand new to church or has grown up in faith, they are welcome here.

What Your Child Will Experience

Our youngest children begin by learning simple, foundational truths:
that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

As children grow, they begin learning how to:

  • Trust God
  • Make wise choices
  • Treat others with kindness
  • Understand who they are through God’s love

Our youth are encouraged to ask questions, grow in authentic faith, and begin living out what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life.

Our Team & Commitment to Safety

Your child’s safety matters deeply to us.

Our volunteer team includes trained adults and youth helpers. All Fresh Start Kids & Youth volunteers:

  • Complete an application process
  • Pass required background checks
  • Complete Safe Sanctuary training
  • Follow clear safety and supervision guidelines
  • Sign confidentiality and Statement of Faith agreements

We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment for children, youth, and vulnerable individuals.

Safe Sanctuary

Fresh Start Church follows a Safe Sanctuary policy to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults from abuse and exploitation. All staff and volunteers over the age of 18 who work with children or youth complete background checks and ongoing training.

If you ever have questions or concerns, we want to hear from you.

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” - Luke 2:52

Questions Before Your Visit?

We know trusting someone with your child is a big deal.
If you have questions before attending, our staff and volunteers are happy to help.
